In Memoriam

Barbara M. Greenwood (Czapla), age 68, was taken from us suddenly while doing something she loved, riding her motorcycle on May 28, 2010. She was a resident of Clinton Township, Michigan. As a flight attendant she was especially proud to be flying with military personnel as they headed to various locations around the world. In 2008, she discovered the love of riding a motorcycle and purchased a Honda Shadow. She joined the Freedom Cruisers Riding Club in 2009 and was given the nickname “Flyer.”

U.S. Veteran Mr. David M. Barton, age 66 of Chesterfield Township, passed away unexpectedly Friday at his home. Dave served in the United States Army, worked as a clerk for ConRail and was a firefighter with the Chesterfield Township Fire Department. He was a member of North Shore Church and HOG Great Lakes SE Chapter, as well as the Freedom Cruisers Riding Club. Dave loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and loved going up north to Kalkaska.

He was born May 28, 1952 in Mt. Clemens to Joyce and the late Thomas Kelly. Mr. Kelly was a 40 year member of Operating Engineers Local #324. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed classic cars and riding his Harley. He was a proud member of the Freedom Cruisers Riding Club.
